Cindy Moon, aka Silk.

As a person who went through therapy, isolation and identity issues full of self-doubts, SILK was more than a superhero.
She represented the years I spent feeling angry about the teen-years I never got to experience. The times I tried to fit in to the world that seemed to "have moved on" without me. I got emotional following Cindy's storyline. And I was so happy to see her in the last page of the comic book.
It's okay to stumble. It's okay to feel awkward, confused, or even lost. As long as you keep moving forward, keep fighting, keep trying, and keep loving.
And I'm so grateful to be sharing my journey as Cindy with you. Here's to the endless adventure! And I can't thank the creators enough for bringing SILK into my life. -Love, RealCindyMoon.
